Justin & Nila in Wedding Inspiration Magazine

So last year December, the very last wedding Lizelle & I did for 2013, was one of my most amazing weddings to date. Justin & Nila is such an 'out-of-this-world' couple with big ideas and a crazy love for each other.

"Nila is a proper ROCK STAR, and even though Justin is a pretty awesome oke, and a ridiculous mountain biker to boot, he is Nila's number one groupie...they make you believe in heart-aching, soul-wrecking over-the-top love." Lizelle said. She a bit of a soppy romantic.... I look beyond that at the amazing images we were able to capture on their Engagement Shoot as well as the wedding day, which was at Thornybush Private Game Reserve....WOW, stunning couple, beautiful setting, wedding guests ready for a party...what more could a photographer ask for? It was an experience to remember!

Rory & Monique {Engagement Shoot}

Rory and Monique's shoot was done in a cosmos field with a vintage VW Combi and helium balloons as 'props'. I just love how these images turned out!

Nelson & Wame {Engagement Shoot}

Nelson and Wame booked me for their wedding in Botswana, and really wanted an engagement shoot. On one of their trips to South Africa to finalise some last minute wedding details, they met up with me at Avianto in Muldersdrift for a quick afternoon photo session. Fun and games!

Jacques & Maggie {Engagement Shoot}

Maggie is so photogenic and loves the camera, which is always a plus! And she made sure Jacques was just as relaxed. Doing these photographs with the animals at Glen Afric where they are getting married, was really specials for the couple. The wedding photograps will follow soon...equally amazing!

Chris & Kim {Engagement Shoot}

We did Chris & Kim's engagement shoot at Jackal Creek Golf Estate where they live. The light ust got better and we got stunning images in the long grass...

I just love doing Engagement Shoots with couples. We get to know each other, and they have the opportunity to see how I work and that being in front of the lens is not at all a daunting experience (especially for the guys). 

The great thing about an engagement shoot, or a couple's shoot is that you will have amazing images of you as a couple. When else will you be able to have professional photographs done apart from your wedding? And even though your wedding images will obviously be amazing and you'll want to show them to everybody, having some really great intimate, fun, relaxed photographs of the two of you together, is something really special.

These images can then be used as Save the Dates, a printed Guestbook or even to make a beautiful canvass on which you guests can leave messages at the wedding...the possibilities are endless.
